We did the housework this morning and I decided to go for a bike ride as the rain we'd had had cleared by early morning. It was cloudy this morning but wasn't cold and there were sunny periods. The brown foal was having a very good scratch on the branch of the tree.
I cycled out to Yelverton again today, on the edge of Dartmoor and cycled 34.815, a shade under 35 miles. It was such a lovely ride. When I got back home I made my sourdough dough and it's now proving in the warmth of the conservatory.
I hope you've all had a lovely day and the weather has been kind to you all.
Have a lovely evening.
Alicia

Thank you. I think most people know by now that I absolutely love horses and have to take photos of them when I see them, they were so cute. Thank you and I'll be checking the dough shortly.
Love your photos and of course the horses. I like the brown foal scratching away there. You are an inspiration to us all and you have more energy in your little finger than I have in my whole body!!!👍♥️😘💜 Xxxx

It was such a cute foal scratching, I couldn't resist a photo.

Hi
No wonder you couldn't resist a photo! I'm so pleased you are enjoying your riding. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx ❤️ 🤗🌈💜
Well, I've done a little gardening, enjoyed the first lunch made by my daughter since before lockdown. Now I'm just catching up on friends on the forum and find you have had a lovely ride through the fantastic Devon countryside today. Yes, when I look at the photos put on by members it does make me so appreciative of where we live. Yet another week ends and another due to start. Let's hope its a good one Alicia. Enjoy your freshly baked bread.
Beautiful scenery, you would never get me home, I would stop at every pony and spend some time with each. Glad you enjoyed your ride. I had my grandson for the afternoon, he is very active to say the least, much more than my granddaughter. I really enjoyed the afternoon but I don't mind admitting, I was tired by the time his dad pick him up early evening. 😁😊🌸
Oh it is difficult leaving them there, I'd love to have one, or more, as a pet(s), such beautiful creatures.
I'm glad you had a good afternoon with your grandson and I agree boys are far more active, not surprised you were shattered. My daughter's lovely friend has a girl and a boy and I have a soft spot for her son, he's 6 now but full of life and he has a lovely temperament, a real cheeky little boy. Her daughter is my granddaughter's best friend, it's so lovely to see them.🐎🚴♀️🌈🙏😊🌻
One day I need to come over there and go for a ride with you. I love the photos and countryside.
Had a few good rides myself in the Sierra Foothills the past few days.
One 35 miler and another shorter. I like the short one cause along the route I have lots of dog friends that come out to bark and say hello. It’s a good day when they are all there.
Been warm here also so it was just shorts and short sleeves.
Lots of thunderstorms in the high country with half inch hail. We are hiking up there in a few days.
Thank you so very much for these interesting photographs, everything looks so calm and peaceful. You would not know that virtually whole world was in lockdown.
There were plenty of other people but it's quite a large area so I was able to keep them out of the photos, I also like to keep them out on purpose so I can see the countryside.
Thank you Jeff. I've had IBS since 1996 but since following the low fodmap diet I've got my zest back for life. Living life to the fullest.😊🙏🐎🚴♀️
Another lovely collection of photos Alicia!👍🙏

Thank you Sue, it was a lovely ride. 🙏🐎🚴♀️😊🌱
I wish that I lived in your part of the country, as I have visited Dartmoor on a couple of occasions. All that I have to look out onto is a car park, and a few houses opposite. I live in a small flat which I really hate, and most of my neighbours keep themselves to themselves. Lockdown for me is like imprisonment, and all that is missing are the bars at my windows. I really live in fear of another lockdown, and would gladly take my chances with the virus, as to locking myself away.

I'm so sorry you feel line you do which I fully understand as I'd feel exactly the same.
I,like you, would rather get out than gave another lockdown, there are so many way you can protect yourself and also people will have to wear masks to the shops as of Friday so it'll make it safer all round. As to another lockdown, I don't think so, the country couldn't survive financially.
Take care🌈🙏🐎🚴♀️
Thank you Jerry, it felt good to get the housework done and it was nice a cool for the ride. I baked the bread this morning before going to the dentist,my appointment wasat 09:00 so I was pleased to bake it beforehand, it's now in the freezer in slices.
They certainly do and the Moors does tend to have it's own weather system.
You have a lovely afternoon Jerry and enjoy fending off the boars.😉🐎🚴♀️🌈🐗
