I had to quit my job at the local cat sanctuary; they reduced meowers!

Throught my life I have always "known" that the age of wisdom was the age I was at the time.
That's quackers! Oh Callendersgal got there before me. I'm a 2nd hand cat...π
Oh dear ! π

Wonderful! I particularly love the cat thing. If my health improves enough and the coronavirus situation allows, I would love to volunteer at a local sanctuary who need 'cat cuddlers.' I have always had both dogs and cats and I haven't been able to have any animals since becoming disabled, so I really miss the contact.
I am sure you have heard about the duck who went into his local pub and had three double whiskeys. He found he'd left his wallet at home so he asked the landlord to put it on his bill ........ππΈ
You will always beat me, re jokes πx. I tried to volunteer for Battersea dogs/cats hone last year, you know dog walking, cleaning kennels etc, they didn't want to know, and I donate every month!!
Oh, that's a shame. I have adopted two dogs from Battersea Dog's Home in years gone by. ππΈ
Very funny, sounds like a Bristolian! x
