That's beautiful scenery. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Thanks for posting Bazzak, I love looking at everyone's photos 😊👍
Lovely photos and thank you for sharing, looks like you had a lovely time
Battersea Park has interesting memories for me, years ago went there for Hot Air Balloon Racing, wonderful snack stalls around, I remember eating about 15 varieties of samosas (most of my memories relate to food!!) More recently, in 2013, my husband died. He had run a small business near the park, and had done some consulting work far another local company. They decided they would plant a tree in Battersea Park, in his memory. I could not get there for the "planting" but my Sister-in-law and her husband did the honours with the spade and sent me some photographs. I did think it was a kind and unusual idea.
That's really lovely SH, it was a kind idea. Did you go to have a look eventually?
Lovely if sad story, if you know roughly where I will try and take a photo for you. X♥️X
I did have a map, which is how I knew I could not make it. I lost the map some time ago, but your offer is very kind. I can still see it my mind as a young and hopeful sapling, may be the best.
Thank You, I miss the British Parks, we do not have many where I live. Thankfully where I live I am in a lovely setting, there is a small lake at the back of my house, no swans??? But birds, egrets and great blue herons, lots of other birds and squirrels. I grow flowers on my deck and down in my garden. Across the road in front is a wetland, I have two feeders out there and the squirrels come, crows, blue jays etc.....I find the older I get I like nature and animals more than the human animal!!!!!! Sending thank you, keep the pictures coming please, Sending love n hugs.......
