Our village has a scarecrow safari today to raise money for the caretaking of the cricket green. It’s all very midsomer murderish but also a bit of fun. Quite a few people having a socially distanced wander around. Think it must be the social occasion of the year so far!
I hope you’re enjoying your weekend.

It’s lovely. Glad it’s not raining. It’s lovely for the children isn’t it and it’s not on computers or TV, doesn’t cost anything and is fun, so it’s great 👍🙂
Even though I've seen them a few times I always forget who done it.My husband usually spoils it by saying who it was at the start-as soon as they appear!
It is. It’s lovely seeing people walking past and some of the scarecrows were really good. I’m glad to get the thing outside as after almost a week it’s nearly given me a heart attack every time I walked into the kitchen. I never got used to it being there and I’m jumpy at the best of times 😂😂
Some great looking characters there, Agoodenough. It made me think of the BBC mockumentary comedy series, This Country! Hope it raised loads of money for your cricket green maintenance!
We got £15 in our pot which was a lot I thought. It’s today and tomorrow. So if everyone got that much then they would have done okay. Also it’s £5 to take part.
A great effort all round Agoodenough! This Country was hilarious and yes the invisible Kerry’s mum and her interruptions from upstairs are side-splitting! 🤣🤣🤣
