Over the bridge to Vauxhall farm, still closed but the llamas outside , think she had just had her first haircut after lockdown. Then a walk along the south side of the Thames to Lambeth Palace, the London home of the Archbishop of Canterbury. Then past the houses of Parliament on the other side of the river. And finally across Westminster bridge and a photo of the London eye, then home.

On the exercise app on my phone it said 6 miles, and no, no drinks, I did pass a boat on the thames that was a bar/ cafe and I thought about a sit down and a pint but resisted the urge π. But I must admit my feet hurt and I did need a big drink when I got home. My wife said I have to do it twice a day !!, I think she wants the insurance! ππxx
That's quite some walk Baz, no wonder your tootsies are hurting! We have a llama park just up the road and I take my granddaughter there, they are lovely animals. I think the one in the photo needs to change her hairdresser though!
I think your wife just wants the peace and quiet whilst you're out xx
I must admit she does, but the farm is run by mainly volunteers and one of them must have had aspirations of being the next Vidal Sasoon. You should have seen the goats !!! ππππxx
We stayed in the Premier Inn next to the London Eye in July 2013. We were invited to a Silver Wedding celebration on a boat down the Thames, it was great, the wine flowed and there was good food, we really enjoyed it. The hotel was good - but expensive. We made the stay last four nights and had a good time. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Still very quiet in central London, the tourists are slowly coming back but no problem re social distancing when walking. I am thinking of taking a walk to the Tower of London because that takes in Downing street, horse guards, Trafalgar Square and St Paul's etc and then cross Tower Bridge and come home along the south side which has Hms Belfast, the Golden Hind and Shakespear's Globe but will have to see if the feet will lastπ. Fyi when you were talking about the Welsh church in Rodnor Walk, that is now part of Hill House private junior school.
Great photos. That's a good distance-I ve done that walk before. One year I took my teenage niece to Greenwich on the DLR then got the river bus back to Blackfriars. We then walked most of the same route as you. The highlight for her was going under Tower Bridge.I love London and only live about 40 mins away on the train so I often used to go up before the virus.Hopefully I will feel brave enough to go after shielding finishes.Especially if its quiet.
