Another good one. That could definitely be me! Time just disappears when working in a garden. It's a great day out visiting lovely gardens too! Do you also enjoy visiting some of the amazing gardens in the UK Bazzak?

Yes, I am a member of the Chelsea physic gardens which is a ten minute walk away from my home, it is all to do with medicinal plants and much more. If you are ever in London go visit.

Also Kew is just a 20 minute train ride and St James's park just up the road has some beautiful displays

I am quite lucky really. Xx⚘🌼🌻

Wow! Now that's a garden Bazzak. I had a quick glimpse of it but will go back on line later to take in more of the history and work that's done there. These are the sort of places I also enjoy visiting. You are certainly very fortunste to live so close to these wondrous places. I envy you.

You are so lucky in the U.K. to have so many wonderful gardens to visit. We usually have to go some distance to visit a good garden. I tour a lot of your gardens by following British gardening shows on ytube. If you ever get a chance to come here post covid try and visit Longwood gardens in Pennsylvania. It’s spectacular. You can see some of it on their website.

I love that. Every cloud has a silver lining and I must say our garden has never looked nicer thanks to covid 19. x

Hi Bazzak,

I used to live in Chelsea (in the early sixties) Radnor Walk and worked in Tite Street, a beautiful house and area, miss it still!

The gardens were very close, just down the road.

Have a good day Bazzak, enjoy a walk along the Thames for me and pop into the Chelsea Potter and have a drink on me!

Hello footgo,

It is a lovely area with everything so close, as you say a short walk to the thames, the royal parks, museums. Etc. I do drive but don't have a car because there is no need. Oh and the Chelsea Potter is at the end of Radnor Walk on Kings Road if I'm not mistaken, been there a few times!.

Have a good day, I might just take a walk up there later and see if they have opened yet.

Good afternoon Bazzak

Meet you at the Potter, if only, yes corner Radnor Walk and Kings Road.

Another of my locals was The Six Bells on Kings Road. l hear that is no longer there.

In the sixties it was always so civilised and Chelsea was a very exciting area to live, as you say so close to everything.

I was so very passionate about all the museums, theatres etc. Even Hyde Park Corner was worth a visit for a couple of hours on a Sunday.

Stay safe and enjoy your weekend.

What I find about Westminster/ Chelsea, is that there is always something really interesting you have never seen before if you take just a slight detour on a walk. I did it last week on my first walk in ages from the Royal Hospital Chelsea to number one London at Hyde Park Corner, it was amazing what I had never seen in living here for 40 years!x

Good evening Bazzak

I agree 100% with what you say about London.

There is a statement that goes something like this “when a man is tired of London he is tired of life”. I used to think that it was Oscar Wilde who made that statement many years ago, but it is attributed to Samuel Johnson I believe.

As a matter of interest if my memory serves me right, again, Oscar Wilde used to live in Tite Street Chelsea.

Walking up Tite Street from the River Thames for about 5 to 8 minutes the house is on the left. I used to pass it every day. My memory is not as good as it used to be so l might be wrong.

Margaret Thatcher used to also live in Tite Street. Useless information, sorry.

Good evening footgo,

Not useless information at all, but I will tell what is. After being housebound for 3 months, I need to to get some exercise. So there are just under 500 blue plaques in Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea, my intention is to go on walks to every one and take a photo!, will will see if I succeed. 😁🙉

Amazing, good luck with your project.

Very interesting, please let me know how you get on. A great idea and it will get you moving again after three months being “stuck” at home.

I have been in lockdown since the twelfth of March except for one visit to the local A&E, after falling in the garden and needed urgent medical treatment. No, l had not been drinking, the paramedics l think did wonder at first. It was a great NHS service really impressed. I told them jokingly that this was the only way I could leave the house.

😁 hope you are ok now, and it's good that you can joke about it.

Thank you, yes all okay now.

My long suffering wife had to dial 999,

(far from the first time) l think that she had dialled the first 9 before my head had hit the ground. The paramedics arrived 10 to 15 minutes later plus an ambulance.

Seriously though it has been really tough for her since 1999 when overnight l was ‘struck down’ with arthritis. Just out of the blue.

She has been to hell and back, sixteen operations plus sepsis problem in ICU. I believe that she never left my side except for the odd few hours. I am a very fortunate man to have such a caring wife and friend.

Take care on your walk-abouts , enjoy the freedom! Very envious.

Ps, the heart and flowers are for your wife 😁x

Thank you 🙏.

Yes , everyday l am so grateful.

My wife says thank you very much for the heart and flowers. You are very kind.

Sadly, I seriously cannot remember the last time that I could go out unaccompanied to buy flowers from a florists, for my wife. She always says that she understands, thankfully.

Take care.

How true, I love my garden, very bee and butterfly friendly, I go down the bottom of my garden to see if my bulbs and even my flowers have not been eaten or destroyed by the garden highway squirrel, I don't know what to do about him, I cant do anything that harms him, if had words with him he either doesn't know English or he thinks no, I will carry on and destroy all these lovely flowers shes been growing, or eat the bulbs to stop nice flowers growing, I will have to put up with him , cos hes one of gods creatures, take care and continue to enjoy your garden xx
