Here is the August calendar from the Action for Happiness people. It's a little early, but I hope you enjoy it.

This is my personal list of challenges.

1- Make a list of goals

2- Take up a new hobby

3- Commit myself to learning

4- Learn a new skill independently

5- Spend time with animals once a week

6- Improve my French

7- Try sewing

8- Talk to random folks in shops (we will see what happens)

9- Keep a suggestion diary

10- Trace my family

Some great ideas and options!

Goodness me, some of those will take a lot longer than a month! But way to go, for coming up with some great ideas that will keep you on a positive track to growing and being happy!

Positive thinking makes for positive wellbeing.

I love the daily positivity.

So do I! I love the fact that if I do something positive to start with, it tends to build from there into a better day than I might have on a day when I don't start that way at all.

Wonderful and so inspirational - thank you!

These calendars are so unique and encourage us to be nicer, kinder people.

Thanks for the current one Bella.

You're welcome, RoadRunner44. :-)

Thank you Bella-Figura. How is this going for you? Are you finding it of benefit to your life? I can't see how it could fail if you take the time and trouble to use the calendar daily. 🙏

You can also download the Action for Happiness app free of charge (you know me and how I love my freebies!). It sends you a daily notification to prompt you to take the action on the calendar. I'm not 100% sure how I feel about the app because generally I'm not that keen on anything that means I use the phone for things other than phone calls or text messages. But I've been using these prompts and doing them most days for a couple of years now, maybe as much as 3 years. I like having them there, even if things get busy and I can't do them or I decide I'm not doing one of them for some reason. It's a reminder on the fridge that I want to live a better life, and that's always a good thing.

Thanks so much- a challenge, but I will do my best 😊🌈💕📿

I don't do every one of them. Some days I forget or become too busy. But most days I do, and I think it benefits you even if you don't get to do all of them. Sometimes you don't have time to do what they suggest.
