Action for Happiness Calendar for July (Jump Back July)

Hi everyone,

Here's the new calendar from Action for Happiness. There are apparently 10 keys to happiness, things we can cultivate that will help us to become happier. (There's a book about it, but I haven't read the book.) One of those things is resilience, and that's what July's actions are all about. Enjoy!

Loving this, thank you 😊

So pleased you like it! I've been using their calendars for probably about 2 years now, and although I don't remember every single day to do what they suggest, or sometimes I simply don't want to, I have found it's really improved my quality of life. :-)

I can imagine, it’s very positive 👍

Hi Bella_Figura, what a great thing. And we most certainly need some resilience at the moment. The chart sort of taps into that quotation from me the other day that pain's inevitable, but suffering's a choice! I shall visit the website of action for happiness! 🙏

I do agree with that quotation, too. I've got a book of quotations to cheer me up when I feel I need a lift, and that one is in there. When you have chronic pain, you want reminding sometimes that you are more than your pain!

I'm glad you like this. There's an app as well, if you're a smartphone user. It's free, and it reminds you every day of the daily calendar item. So it's another way to remind you that there's more to life than whatever we're rushing from or to.
