We heard recently about a 5 Yr old boy who had both legs amputated due to abuse by his birth parents. He wanted to raise £500 for the hospital that have helped him by walking every day in June, the BBC website are saying he's raised over £1 million, someone else worthy of an award I think

Oh that is amazing, bless his little heart, after all he's been through and at his age. For one so young that is just incredible and I agree about the award Jenny. He apparently set out to win five million thousand pounds 😊 (Daily Mirror).
Oh wow, what an amazing boy and only 5. With what he's suffered to be even thinking about raising money is incredible.
I totally agree, one for an award.

I read that story too. It is so heartbreaking but inspiring too. 🙂🌸
It really brings tears to your eyes, tears of joy, that this little boy has so much courage and must be enjoying what he is doing, helping , It's just amazing. Well worthy of an award and all the toys a boy would want. 🙏😊
I remember your mentioning him previously Jennymary. This is an amazing achievement, and even more-so, coming from someone who has had such a tough start in life. Absolutely wonderful! 👍🙏
Yes, Tony Hudgell has put a lot of us to shame. His adoptive parents were told that he wouldn't walk! His story of awful abuse at the hands of his birth parents is shameful. Ì have to admit that I wept buckets when I saw him on the TV yesterday. Such a brave little soldier and worthy of a Pride Of Britain award at the very least.
Hello Jennymary
I have not heard of this little chap before, l feel so humbled just thinking all that he has gone through at such a very young age.
He definitely needs as much support as possible, in every way.
Oh yes. I have been watching him on tv. I think his name is Tony. He is a very determined little boy and what wonderful parents he now has. x
Definitaly !
i saw him on bbc breakfast a couple of weeks ago. the story captured my heart so i searched JustGiving straight away, the total was only about £500 then, now i believe he has raised thousands for the Evelina Children's Hospital (part of St Thomas's in London) to improve the quality of life for other children. I thought he was such a great little boy with a devilish laugh and his now parents have made him a very happy and sociable boy. It is so worth contributing to his cause.
He is truly one of God's angels on earth.
