Thatβs a great one, Bazzak !πππ
Hope you are well Activity, don't work too hard xx
Iβm doing okay. Thank you!πππ
You okay?
Yes thank you x
Thatβs good.πππ
Activity, have you ever watched the film Notting Hill ?. Its an English film with Hugh Grant and Julia Robert's, I have just seen it here on tv ( for the 5th time) and it still leaves a lovely warm feeling I can really recomend it if you haven't seen it. ( English humour though ! Xx)
I have heard of it, but I donβt remember if I had seen it. Julia Roberts is one of my favorite actresses.πππ
It is a lovely film, you may get a little lost with the English accents and as I said humour, and it was filmed in central Lindon where I live !.
Have a good night and speak soon xx
Talking about Hugh Grant, have you ever watched a film called, Mickey Blue Eyes, it is a comedy and hilariously funny. In the film he has to try and take off a New York accent and messes up. It has a great American cast in. ππΈ
Havenβt seen that one. Will have to see if I can get it on TV.πππ
You will laugh all the way through. Even though I've watched it a few times, every time it comes on, I watch it again and I get belly ache with laughing. πΌπΌ
That's brilliant π
Yes, that is! Love it. Now you have challenged me! Stand by for my next joke ....π
I LOVE that one Bazzak... I might even 'Steal' it! I nearly wrote 'Steel' it.... That would have 'Shown My Metal'!
AndrewT
π You are welcome Andrew, there are worse to come π«
Haha π good one! Took me a sec but thatβs clever
π½π½π½, but still funny Bazzak! π
Ouch. π€―
This is an example of why English speakers have such a sense of humour. Other languages don't have the huge number of idioms that must seem very strange if someone takes them literally. LOL
Absolutely. I think because English is a 'Mongerel' language, with loan words from just about everywhere, that it has many more 'descriptive' words than other languages.
To give an example, I'm trying to learn Welsh, and I'm having problems with the lack of words in Welsh, and trying to add advanced descriptors without having to fall back into English to explain my point adequately.
Brilliantπππ
OH BRILLIANT A LOAD OF OLD COBBLERS!! (a person who mends shoes) someone has walked away with that idea lol
Love it, you are clearly the 'SOLE' of the party....Sorryπ. I think you NAILED it anyway....π₯΄
AndrewT
OOOOHHHHH!!! why did i not think of that -i sat trying to JOG my memory for some shoes jokes thats why I came up with the weakest one of all (cobblers)
If I say THIS one you will Squ(h)EEL in painπ£. So I suppose I'd better just 'Hot Foot' it away!π£ There are Loads of Shoe, Boot and 'other' Footwear jokes Sara... Come on. I could give you a 'Sneekers' clue, if you like, but I wouldn't want to CLOG you of ideasπ.
So I'll just 'Flip Flop' off.
AndrewT
Dear Sara_2611,
Please excuse me 'Shoehorning' my way, back in hereπ. I was was just thinking of putting my 'Tongue' outπ, at you, because you seem rather 'Tightly Laced'γ° (the absolute 'closest' I could find to laces.)
You really should relax more and 'PUT YOUR FEET UP' and not get too 'UP TIGHT'π.
I'd better 'RUN' nowπ¬.
AndrewT
Oooooh no
HISS OFF!!! LOL (QUOTED FROM OCTOPUSSY)
