I have AML and recently I was quoted £1500 for a ten-day Mediterranean cruise. I would appreciate any recommendations of Insurers who offer reasonable cover. Perhaps I have to accept only taking holidays in the UK.

Hi Yerac, Once you reach a certain age (80), or if you have multiple serious health issues, if you want to travel overseas, insurance is going to be expensive. It puts no end of people off. I think you can only try a comparison site and see if there is anything that would give adequate cover for less. Such a shame for you, but I've heard endless not-so-well, or over 80s complaining about it, and I'm not looking forward to the day when my travel's restricted by insurance cost.
