Visor or mask

I've got a visor, but with the rules now saying wear a mask when travelling on public transport, I haven't seen anything about wearing a visor, so the question is, should I also get a mask

Hi Jennymary, As has so often happened during the pandemic, we've been given rules without enough guidance being issued at the same time.

I think (but don't know for sure), that a visor on its own would be adequate protection, but the rule for public transport states 'a mask', and, knowing how pedantic bus drivers can be, I think I'd carry a mask too, just for that awkward occasion when you might be confronted to wear one and be refused permission to get on the bus. But generally speaking, I'd say the visor was fine.

Buy yourself a mask anyway just in case you need it.

Hi, yes, I think it would be wise to get a mask. They are now selling washable single masks in home bargains and B&M. I think they are about 3 pound. 😷🌼

Hi Jennymary

I would as you can never have too much protection. Well done on having a visor. I ordered washable masks yesterday made in the UK.
