NHS hierarchy instructing daft ideas

The inefficiency of the green/blue masks are well known in science and engineering & yet my son who was told to remove the white N95 mask he was wearing and has done since day one but with regular changes of course, and put on a green blue so called surgical mask on when he went for his first vaccination.

He was attending the biggest venue in Nottingham which was the ITV studios on Lenton Lane for that first vaccination.

The fact is that he was told to do a ridiculous manoeuvre and put a mask on that was approximately 20% less efficient than the white N95 mask on that he was wearing for protection of both himself and those around him.

Whoever has conjured up this new stupidity should be ashamed of themselves and they should be publicised in the fact that they do not know what they are instructing in a technical capacity.

On the news this morning those who are more intelligent ,experienced and have the expertise to know better are calling for all health workers to be issued with better masks. This instructing of the wearing of inferior masks must be down to finance only and not the ultimate protection of the valuable people that have worked so hard to help others, many of whom have been 'at death's door' and many who have succumbed to that terrible virus which is covid 19.

Well Micklemus, that is ridiculous! That person was obviously misinformed!

But wouldn't read too much into it!

I went for a hospital appointment last month and was told to put the silly white an blue mask on at the hospital entrance! I find it hard to breathe with them for an hour or 2and the ones I bought are really good and I have no problems wearing them!!

Glad when we all vaccinated! 💉📌

It is absolutely true because my son was my apprentice commercial heating engineer and filtration is just one of the technicalities within our profession. They would not have succeeded in getting me to wear a mask that was inferior to mine which is 97.5% efficient. It does look heavy duty as it's a twin PP3 respirator but the next best thing is the N95 mask he was wearing. Yes the NHS hierarchy are quite capable of making mistakes and this is one of them. Let's hear who that stupid idiot is shall we ? The word is Faceless. Or is it Hancock?

Thanks Did you see the Israeli mask that is zink oxide impregnated cloth and washable. expensive at $40 a piece though.. distilled or boiled water cooled then put 12 gramms of zink oxide Ebay into the 100ml water. Ultra fine sprayer as in a perfume bottle . hang to dry... kills viruses in 30 minutes.

All the technicalities make for interesting reading for engineers. We v like to know how things work. The nitty gritty.

that’s nice 😊 in my parents country algeria they got the vaccine 😊

Getting the vaccine is only part of the protection program. We must all be careful to wear a mask wherever we go and that includes outside.

All individuals should note what the South Koreans are doing and what their practices were early on in the epidemic. Some other countries death rate is exceptionally high compared to S Korea. Some would say the word is incomparable.
