Beautiful. I think there is a group of volunteers who go round and restore these old buildings as it happened to the church ruin near us. How lovely 🙂
The. Colours in the church wall are gorgeous and the stonework is excellent.
It's a very pretty church indeed. I love churches and try go visit one whenever visiting a town, city and definitely villages. Thank you.
They have done it justice. x
What a beautiful spot. I love old churches and graveyards. They are packed with interest and wildlife. 🌺
That is beautiful. What a fantastic painting that would be. x
What a lovely photo. It must be wonderful for you to be out finally. I have been able to go out for a walk daily luckily as I am low risk and they are the highlight of my day! Take care. Lisa
This is beautiful, can you say where it is (maybe it would be wiser not to)? I love to know the history of places like this. One place I have always promised myself a visit is Rosslyn Chapel, but I never seem to get there. Maybe one day. 🙏 Thanks for sharing. Lovely shot by the way. x
That's a beautiful spot - and a great photograph.
The red sandstone is apparent so it's not Southern England. The Midlands, Shropshire, Cheshire are likely counties, or further north. I am so glad that they left the ivy growing. That protects stonework and is good for insects and butterflies.
That's a pretty church and glad you.enjoyed your first walk
All our local stone is sandstone, quite a lot of old sandstone quarries in this are. Old local churches, pubs, houses etc are built in sandstone
