In the Uk I think sadly if people are not careful lock down could be back .
What does everyone think . Via meeting my friend for a social distance walk I do not want to see anyone to much of a risk ...
Just wanted every ones thought . Please stay safe ..

The government has put in place that we are allowed to meet 6 people outside the household. But we still have to be careful. Lockdown will go back into place if NHS cannot cope and we hit a second high peak in deaths.
Glad it is not only me who feels this way . I want to see people but do not want to risk work as if I do not work I have debt mortgage that needs paying . I get no benefits so have to stay away from people . I love them but happier seeing them on video call.
I’m beginning to feel like there are so many rules and regulations I don’t know if I’m coming or going not that I mind because I don’t want to cause someone else to become ill.
We have a bit of a situation as Phils mum lives On her own nearly 4 hours away from us and she is 85. I feel as though we will be putting her at risk if We go there and so does she but we can’t just say oh well that’s that we are never coming to see you. We could go and see her in her garden but I don’t think we can stay over and it’s a long journey driving there and back in a day.
I think a walk with your friend keeping social distance should be fine but you have to consider if you have any health implications of your own. It’s such a strange time at the moment isn’t it.
If I got the virus it would kill me . But my friend does not see anyone so fine and keeping a distance ...Older people you have to really stay away from best not to see them as they would be the worst effected that is not being rude but a fact ! We have to do what we feel is right !!!
I am 76 and happy to self isolate, would love to see my daughter who is my only child, but she live in Oxford(The city of dreaming spires) which is 165 miles from us, and miss our Grandchildren too.😕
My brother and his family came over and stayed on our front porch area while we sang Happy Birthday to my Nephew yesterday afternoon. The gifts and the kids were able to be seen/talked to, but they weren't allowed in the house. None of them wants to get me or our parents sick. They're very careful with the COVID 19 and us (I'm in the high risk list).
But we didn't have any Visitors because I was too ill anyway.
Just myself and my Hubby, but it was still lovely to be together.
I think that things are moving a bit too fast. It shouldnt mean that one rule fits all , because we're not all the same. So many people are ignorant of the fact of how dangerous this virus is. They are the ones that will make this Virus rear it's ugly head again. Then we will all be in big trouble because the NHS will not be able to cope, not again
They are only Human, just like us.
They have lost a lot of Doctors,Nurses , Family and Friends. So are in emotional strain, they won't be able to keep going.
Happy Anniversary! Congratulations to you and your hubby!😀👍🌈
Yes, some people are going to fast with wanting to be done with the lockdown everywhere. In my area, we are one of the sickest Counties in Maryland and people are yelling at the County Executive while trying to give information. It’s not fair and he even had said he didn’t want to be in lockdown either. He was wanting to do things, too, but can’t. They didn’t want to hear it.
Thank you for saying this. We are okay. My dad puts orders in for groceries and he drives up to pick them up from the store staff to have them put everything in the car trunk. He leaves for home after everything is settled and closed.😀👍🌈
Like yourself if I got the virus, it would kill me, politicians do political work, in their respective places, medical people do medical work in their respective places, they do not always mix, this is where the United Kingdom becomes less UNITED, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, set there OWN rules they in reality should not mix, there is too many variables not just on the political and medical front, if something goes wrong in one of these areas, try not to panic, as you say "We have to do what we feel is right!!!" No matter what part of the country we live in! Stay safe, this is a very important part of our wind down!
Me two, my biggest problem is a shared entrance hall to my home with an upper flat who flaunts all the advice doing an advanced DOM C. making a double cleaning routine for me, Glad when he goes away for 5 days me at 81yrs letting an so called educated person put me at extra risk. SO I am staying in lock down till at list the end of June take care all
Also if people continue to flout the rules . Ive noticed that the rules have never included mandatory mask wearing
Only time will tell Mia898. This is experimental of course, and is far scarier than lockdown. But we have to try. Those who have been advised to stay home still should, of course, for their own safety, but there have to be others who will try limited social mixing and should, because the other side to this crisis is a horrendous economic situation. Mistakes will be made. Of course they will, just as they were made at the outset of the crisis, but for the sake of so many livelihoods, it's essential to try to find a way forward.
This first phase of recovery needs common sense instead of one rule fitting all. In any society there will always be those who are ultra risk averse and others who indulge in behaviours that are too risky. We have to somehow find a general balance between the two extremes.
I think social circles should be kept very limited. I personally think things are moving to fast. I think it is up to each individual to remember this virus hasn't gone away and it still remains of the upmost importance to keep safe in the environment we are in. xx
The worst thing is allowing drive anywhere way too soon. My daughter is a primary school teacher - she has worked throughout both delivering a full day of online classes and taking part in rota at school for key workers. Now we hear parents saying it is far too dangerous for children to go back to school but it’s safe enough to take them to crowded beaches with no lifeguards and no access to toilets and hand washing facilities - what are we teaching those children!? Our infection rate is still so high and the R number only just below 1 no room for complacency
Sorry that’s me venting a bit. Stay safe everyone ❤️🌈
Considering how badly this government has delt with this crisis up till now I'lll not be taking their advice and I'll be keeping to isolated as much as possible. Sadly I can't help but have a nagging feeling Cummings and co haven't got rid of their original 'herd immunity' idea and so see this latest news as just that by the back door.
I’m afraid it’s not the government you need to worry about, nor Cummings, the real problem at the moment is the media, all we hear about is the virus. Doom doom doom and more doom and gloom.
I’m told Cummings son is Autistic? Your wife is ill you’ve been ill, what would you do? We all have a breaking point. He’s human just like the rest of us. Not that I’m condoning his actions, it’s another media frenzy. There are more important things we need to worry about. Stopping the virus for one, which needs us all to work together.
If you agree with what Cummings did and pathetic 'dog ate my homework' excuse for his behaviour then I'm afraid there's no hope for you or anybody else. And at the moment there is plenty to worry about when it comes to our governments behaviour sadly. Sorry...
I’m neither for or against. I can see why. As for the government their in the same boat we are, no good throwing the captain overboard when you don’t know how to sail the ship yourself.
They like us all are doing their best in unprecedented times. We need to do our best by pulling together instead of trying to score political points.
Let’s get through this first. Then have the bun fight, but all together first.
Thing is they are not in the same boat. Far from it. Cummings has by his actions managed to help undo weeks of work when it comes to lockdown. Now folks are thinking he got away with it so why can't I? Now here comes to second wave.
As you say it was a media frenzy about DC!!! There has been nothing but criticism of the government from the media day after day after day. No praise whatsoever for all the fantastic things that have been achieved by the government and the enormous task it faced during the weeks since the virus hit our country. However I have yet to hear the media tell us that the ex teacher who reported DC had also broken the lockdown by travelling over 500 miles round trip from his home to Berkshire to pick up his daughter a few weeks before. Also the second man who said he had seen DC a second time in Durham walking in Houghall woods admiring the bluebells has admitted it was lies and that he had done it as a joke!!
Totally agree re Cummings he just got caught! Thousands of Jo public have been flouting the law /advice for weeks. It seems to me the well over seventies are the worst offenders.
What do they not understand about social distancing?
Masks should be mandatory in supermarkets well all shops and public transport.
I to will not be rushing out especially to shops beaches restaurant etc.
But am desperate to have my hair cut and coloured!
Keep safe every one and be sensible, because I am afraid many others will not.😕
Hey Now,my Hubby and I are well over 70. we have been self isolating for 9 weeks. In fact,i have been housebound for over 5 years.
There are people of all ages that seem to be ignorant of the dangers of this Virus. The Elderly are not the worst offenders, in fact we are more afraid to go out than the younger people. 🤨
My Hubby is a walking well over 70s group. We don't think that we are immune, in fact, quite the opposite.
Have a good look at all the people on the beaches. They are nearly always younger couples with Children, not the over 70s.
I Love Dorset and all the surrounding areas. My Nan and Granch were from Devon. My Mum was born in Tiverton. I have a Cousin that lives in Collumpton.
We hired a Cottage last July called The Owl's Nest in South Molton.
It was lovely there, but I only stayed for 3 days because of my illnesses.
My Hubby had to take me home.
But at least I went back to see Tiverton, where my Mum was born for 1 more time. I also had my Birthday there. I wish that I could have stayed there for the full time but I just couldn't stand the pain.
Hi Mia. In my opinion there is only one way to be safe and that is to stay at home and that's where I am staying. Banking on a safe, effective vaccine before I will go near anyone. The sad thing is that although my husband is shielding with me to protect me, I am dodging around him now. Is that paranoia or being sensible? x
Hi,Shelia,I am in the same position as you,am also ignoring latest gov.advice and staying put, with husband shielding too,we both agree this is all to fast.
My next decision will be based on what happens over the next few weeks re.R numbers, which I believe will go up.
Trouble is, I'm staying home too, but if the virus spikes again, how much longer are we going to be forced to stay in? Actually, we're not forced, but if we go out into shops etc. we take a risk. I can't help it - I'm starting to feel that if anyone wanted to cull the aged, the frail and the ethnic minorities, this would be a very good way to do it, with no blame attached.
I totally agree with everything you said on your post,Just this morning i wrote in a 38 degrees survey that I feel the govt is trying to cull us by using Herd Immunity. We have paid into the system for over 50 years and deserve a comfortable retirement.Even before the virus the govt were complaining as to how they could keep paying the pensions as there were more and more folk reliant on the state. There is bound to be a second wave.It just goes to show how much money they were stashing in the vaults as they suddenly found BILLIONS.Keep safe I am certainly not going anywhere. Best wishes to all. Maggie Willow
Hi there - new on here - Age wise I just have hit the mark - health wise - high bp so not too bad - but shop only once a week with great distance - no one in the house - if someone comes - no cuppa and stand in the garden and as for the loo - forget it - visitors can cross their legs - no skin left on hands due to washing over and over. And the dodging made me chuckle - my hubs has no health issues but when I step back when he is talking - he asks me if his breath is bad lol - I didn't realise I made it so obvious - so no not paranoia - take care x.
Can become paranoid, my partner is also shielding me. But enjoy together time.
Yes in the United States too, they opened up even more, but restaurants servers are supposed to be wearing masks, and gloves they are not. People are having big parties. Theirs not social distantIng .Plus we are having riots now because what happened in one of one of our states . Does one wrong, make the other wrong right. Plus their not wearing masks. So tired of people that just don’t care about one another.
I agree, I live in the USA a lot of people here are ignorant to what’s going on. Ill people are being harassed for wearing a MASK because their trying to make it a Political issue. It’s Life or Death Damn it. There’s a saying out here “Just Wear the Damn Mask “😷. A woman said she has a son who’s fighting Cancer No Way would he survive the Virus. WHAT is Wrong with people??? Their Mad because the government wants them to Wear Mask, But Yet they are trying to intimidate people who wear mask? Isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black ??? 🙏😷
It is impossible to understand all the strange behaviours. x
I ventured to my local Tesco after eight weeks of lock down. It appeared like a forth of July Party. Children running about unsupervised, adults going the wrong way, and couldn’t care less, even those who should have known better (70+). And the staff weren’t interested. As always profit profit profit.
The only way this will end is if all these stupid, and I do mean stupid. (From one that’s had the virus) is for them to contract it. Which is very sad, and the state this country has allowed itself to wallow into. A total disregard for anyone else. That I personally blame on greed and the loss of the family day on a Sunday most of us may well remember visiting loved ones.
The NHS wouldn't cope with a second high peak. Weve already lost some of our Doctors and Nurses to this Virus.
The ones still working on Critical Care are already exhausted, without another high Peak . Some people are just ignorant of the fact of how dangerous this Virus is.
They must be on another Planet.
What about if Nelson had said I don't think that I will go to sea today, as it looks a bit too choppy? What about if the men in the trenches in World War 1 said it looks a little bit too mucky down there, and we could be shot at and killed? What about if the Dambusters Squadron had said It is a very dangerous mission with low flying tactics, and we could end up crashing into the sea, or worse still, crashing into a mountain?
Think about it, we are only living, and I put it as slightly living as it is. Do we want a half life, or do we want to emerge out of our bunkers and face the future. Death is a natural ending to life, and it comes in many forms. So, live while you have the chance.
With respect, that is not a sensible argument. This covid-19 virus survives by transmission from person to person. If it has nowhere to go it will not survive long on surfaces. Therefore the way to beat it is to give it nowhere to go. Giving up on lockdown, saying we only have a "half life", means the virus can keep travelling from person to person and many will die that have no known underlying health conditions. More people would die unnecessarily and the NHS would not be able to cope. It makes sense to continue with this "half life" for a little longer.
In human wars things are quite different. Either you face the enemy, irrespective of the harsh conditions, or you are defeated. Many people gave their lives for us to have a better life and they must not be forgotten.
However the way to defeat the virus is to keep away from it so it has nowhere to go. You don't tackle it head on as you give it the opportunity to spread and kill more people unnecessarily.
Thank you for your reply. I was not really looking for an argument, but I was just using my examples as a metaphor. None of us know if this virus will ever completely go away, and then lockdown will be futile. Many of our population have had to return to work, as their very lives depend upon it. Also, the economy, although used by some as an excuse to ignore the health of the nation, is as essential to us as the air that we breathe. No pun there intended.
My grandfather fought in the trenches in France, and my father flew on one of the Lancaster Bombers. I can picture my father now, and know what he would think. He would not want people to be so afraid to inch back into life.
As for myself, I have had to go out to the shops (allowed outings) as otherwise my husband and myself would have starved. We are not in a position for anyone to help us. My husband suffers from Bi-Polar disorder and depends upon my assistance. Apart from that outing, I have only been to collect medication, and to go to the bank.
I have never even used my allowed time for daily exercise, and would never go to a beach, barbecue, or other recreational pursuits. I am a responsible person. But I do worry about what is happening to people through the sheer terror that is blasted via the media. There are people out there who have had cancer treatments postponed, serious operations cancelled. They may die as a result of miscalculations made by the sciences, as they like to be called.
I am trying to exist in a very small flat with no outlook, no garden to take any recreation in, and without neighbours who even care to ask how I am coping.
I do honour the dead who fought for my country, that is why I am sitting here writing this out now. They fought for our freedom, and as such, and we should be allowed to exercise it. Inch by inch, is a cautious way. If not exercised, their fight will have been in vain and the victor will be fear. With all due respect.
Thanks for replying. I don't want an argument either. I note that at least you are able to go out. I am in the shielding group so not allowed out or any visitors even in the garden. Fortunately I did have government food parcels and now organised home deliveries from supermarkets. Just at the beginning of lockdown moved to a new home so it has not been easy. However i am determined we will beat this virus by not giving it anywhere to go. The selfish idiots who congregate in close proximity on beaches will slow things down. They are selfish and stupid but it takes all sorts to make a world. I wish them no ill but hope they don't cause further deaths by transmitting the virus.
Anyway you take care. There will be light at the end of the tunnel.
You can do Food shopping online. I know it's not the same as looking before you buy. But if you feel like you cannot leave your Husband for long periods of time, surely online shopping would be much easier for you. Does your Husband have any Heart Problems ,COPD ,Asthma or is he Diabetic. Just wondering ????.
You can have your medication delivered as well. That's what my Hubby and I have to do.
You said that many of our Population have had to return to work, because their very lives depend on it.
But by returning to work too early, there's a strong possibility that they will lose their lives anyway.
How would their Family survive then. Our next door Neighbour passed away 4 weeks ago with the Coronavirus. My Daughter-in-laws Uncle passed away the same day with the Virus. Then 2 weeks ago my Daughter-in-law's Brothers Wife passed away with the Coronavirus.
This Virus is different than fighting in the trenches. War is horrific in any shape or Form.
Thank you for your reply. I have been trying to get some slots for home deliveries, but the lists have been full. However, I hope to get something in place before the autumn arrives. As for medication, the chemist that we use does not use a delivery service. We use this particular chemist, as they supply the drugs from a good company. In the past we have had drugs from other companies, and they have had additives that do not suit us.
My husband has to take strong antipsychotic drugs to keep him from going high, which carries a risk of a long period of hospitalisation. For myself, I only have to take one kind of medication.
During the middle of last November I contracted Covid - 19 (Coronavirus). I became quite ill with chills and fevers, plus a dreadful hacking cough that made me think that I would choke to death. I then went on to develop pneumonia, but asked my husband not to let me go to hospital unless I collapsed. I could barely walk from room to room without gasping for breath. I also lost my taste and could not eat. I was ill for about a month, and was left totally exhausted. About a week before Christmas I had a mini-stroke, which caused me to lose some of my vision in one of my eyes. This passed pretty quickly though, and I have read that Coronavirus can lead to a person having a stroke because it can cause blood clots to form in the body. Coronavirus has been in this country for longer than we have been told.
You do well to try and avoid it, as it has mutated now, and it is a much stronger strain. Nevertheless, I have been out shopping since March of this year and continue to do so. I don't think that I am lucky when I go out, but I may have developed a certain immunity to it. All of this 2 metre queuing does not serve any purpose, as when you get into the supermarkets it is every man for himself.
I had an outpatient appointment a couple of weeks back at my local hospital. I did wear a face mask and took along a pair of latex gloves. However, I appeared to be the odd one out as most of the nurses, and all of the doctors were not wearing any face masks. No particular protective clothing either. I had numerous tests to see if I had any blocked arteries, and all of the staff who attended me wore no protective clothing. I also suffer from a heart condition, an autoimmune condition, and Macular Degeneration.
My sense of taste has not returned to how it was before, but I can still eat. My energy levels have not returned either, and I don't think that they ever will. I am not the same person, physically, or mentally, since contracting this virus. But I refuse to let it constrain my movements any more than is necessary. I do not take any excessive risks though, and spend the majority of my time at home. I am very sorry that you have had so many deaths, especially with your next door neighbour, and within your daughter-in-law's family. Coronavirus is indeed an unseen killer. Take care of yourself and I am sure that you will be safe. 🤞
Thankyou. I have Valvular Heart Disease, ,Asthma COPD,Angina and a 16 cm Haitus Hernia. I have Breathing problems because of all of this. Have been hospitalised with Pneumonia a couple of times.
Have been on Life Support in Critical Care and kept in hospital for 6 weeks..I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis. I have that horrible disease Fibromyalgia.
I also have a Uterine Prolapse, Cyst on the Pancreas,Cysts on the inside and outside of my Liver,Cyst on the Kidney,Enlarged Liver Sludgy ,Gallbladder and Gallstones. I also have Blocked Bile Ducts. I failed my Pre Admission Assessment because of my Heart condition. I had to have another Heart Scan, then i had to meet the Anaesthetic Consultant and she agreed to give me the Anaesthetic ,but only after she'd seen the results of my Scan.
Everything was all set up for me. My Surgeon said that she'd take my Gallbladder out and sort my Bile Ducts out etc. Then the Coronavirus reared it's ugly head. So everything is put on hold until it's safe for me to have the operation.
I can't wait until it's all over and done with. Im in so much pain all the time..
Agree totally - no where to go = no where to hide = no where to infect = go away Covid - we don't need you anymore = stay home alone or with those living with fam= ride it out and it will pass. Laughing it in the face will make it bite back with a vengeance.
It is a difficult one but there were a lot more very large groups - a lot more than 6 . I don't think we need to be meeting up with so many people . I think it encourages everyone to get togrther just because they can
I think things are moving too quickly. What we have to remember, is that this devastating Virus is still here. It hasn't gone away. I am High Risk Im 77 years old and so is my Hubby ,I've got Valvular Heart Disease, , Asthma, COPD,
Angina and a 16 cm Haitus Hernia and a lot more other medical conditions.
There are still a lot of people out there that aren't taking any notice of the
Lockdown. They have no common sense and flaunt the rules .What about the masks. Is it mandatory to wear them or not .???. We've been self isolating for 9 weeks, Our Eldest Son lives only just down the road from us ,but i haven't been able to see him. He's Diabetic and has Asthma and a Heart Problem. Our other 2 Sons I've only seen once and that's only through the window. But we are determined to stay put for a while longer.
Because if this Monster rears its ugly head like a few months ago how on Earth is the NHS going to cope with it again.
We've already lost a lot of our Doctors and Nurses because of the Virus. Some of them are so stressed out over it,i think that they will be leaving Critical Care because they can't handle much more of it. Not because they want to,because they are dedicated to saving lives, but because they have to because of Stress.
If we hit a second high peak, the NHS will not be able to cope with it, not again.
Only Time will tell, but it could too late then. I don't want out at the moment.
Nothings really changed. The ONS reports 8000 new infection daily and 400 deaths. The virus is still out there in a community near you. Ignoring the risk with misplaced optimism or just plain stupidity, I suspect, accounts for at least a proportion of the infections. Care workers and medical staff are still putting there lives on the line daily and are still dying.
It's well- documented that the virus does least well in outdoor space. So distance and fresh air are our friends.
I'll not be changing my lockdown lifestyle anytime soon.
Hang on in there, people. We're here for the long game - fingers crossed, masked up in public indoor spaces , if unavoidable , and minimum of 2m distancing, maintained at all times !
I think for me it is a question of life or death, This may be dramatic I know but I have nearly died already through not being able to breathe and believe me it is terrifying. There is no white light or waiting angels to guide you home. Just a desperation to cling to life no matter what. So I have been at home for 10 weeks and will do so until I feel that I can go out safely. I do not believe that some people are taking this seriously even some of my friends have questioned my judgement and they know my history. I am not saying that being at home is easy because it is not good from many perspectives especially financially but I am happier here. My hope is that everyone heeds the advice given and for me it is not confusing. If you do not have to go out then don’t. If you or any of your family or friends die because you just had to meet someone etc then you will wish you had stayed at home. Life is much too short to be wasting it. So enough of my ranting 🤦🏽♀️. Stay safe everyone and behave 😂🙏❤️
I am afraid you are probably correct Mia because from what I’ve seen of friends and neighbours, they haven’t been taking notice of any of the instructions we have been given for weeks now!! We have been isolating and sticking by all the rules now for 12 weeks and to see others blatantly disobeying them then having the nerve to clap every week is unbelievable. They are not thinking of anyone else but themselves. If everyone had stuck to the rules we might not have had as many cases or deaths. We will never know.
I personally think you have to stay away from people via zoom and whatsapp video calls .
Via my friend who see no one I will not see anyone other than work !! I just cannot risk and will not as cannot afford to be sick and loss of income !!
Frankly, I'm tired of the whole thing. We only talk about Covid19, but what about all other influenzas that is still out there. They were around before covid19 and no one panicked or even cared if they infected anyone else. Those of us with compromised immune systems are always careful. We don't touch public door handles, touch our face, or eat or drink anything without washing our hands first. I have been practicing simple hygiene protocol for years now and haven't even caught a cold. I think it's sad that people have already proved that they have no regard for others since they started lifting the lockdowns here in the U.S. There was on place that they weren't even 6 inches apart let along 6 feet apart. People from that group are now coming down with the virus.
I agree that we needed to have the lockdown for the first 30 days to stop the rapid spread of the virus but now its time to get back to life, not as we knew it but as careful, caring human beings. Wearing a mask isn't going to keep us safe from the virus but it might keep someone else safe. Keeping a few feet apart from each other rather than crammed together like sardines will help. If you are sick stay home and stop infecting everyone else with what you have. We aren't going to get rid of the covid19 just as we haven't gotten rid of the common cold but we can keep it from taking down the whole world just by following simple hygiene protocol.
This Virus is much worse than the common cold, that's why no one panicked.
You're very lucky if you've never even had a cold. I've always practiced simple hygiene, but even so ,been hospitalised
several times with Pneumonia..
My immune system is very low, so i have to be very careful.
I know a lot of people have ignored the Lockdown and ignored all the advice that we've been given.. They are so selfish and think of nobody else but themselves.
Well now I am going to ignore the advice
that the Government have put out.
I think that they should have left this Lockdown a while longer.
This Virus is a Silent Killer. So my Hubby and I are staying put. Trying to get back to life too quick, will only cause more Deaths. I know in Maryland it's been horrendous.I just hope that it doesn't go down that road here in Wales..
Yes, Covid19 has been bad in the densely populated metropolitan areas, just as the H1N1 virus is that killed over 100,000 people in 2009. It is still killing about 60,000 a year but we now have a vaccine for it. The rural areas of the U.S. aren't hit quite as bad per capita as the metropolitan areas have been. But like I said if people would stop being selfish and self-centered and stop breathing down each other's neck we could slow this virus down to a standstill. Those with compromised immune systems should stay inside or away from crowded areas. I used to get sick all the time. I have MS along with asthma and used to catch everything that came along until I started taking care to wash my hands many times a day and before any food or drink gets near my mouth. I stay out of crowds, I don't go shopping during Christmas time unless it's very early in the morning when nobody is out yet. I never go to the mall anymore. It's a whole lifestyle change and it works.
Hi Hairbrain4. Well that's it,the Government have given people more Space. Now the Idiot's that have already been ignorant to the rules ,will be even worse.
I thought that the Police were supposed to disperse large groups of people. They aren't doing it here.
There were 7 cars parked outside next door and partly across our front. A lot of People laughing and hugging each other ( how stupid is that ). A Police Car went past and didn't even slow down. GRRR.
Makes my blood boil.
My Daughter-in-law is a Policewoman and when I told her about it,she said ( Some of them turn's a blind eye to it ).I had a go at her. I said ( Well it's bloody wrong ).
She don't live in the same Area as i do. She lives up in the Valley.
Rant away...sometimes it's the only thing that keeps us from going bonkers! People are really going bonders over here, they are rioting! A a white policeman literally killed a black man by putting him on the ground with his knee on the mans neck. The guy kept yelling he couldn't breathe but the cop kept his knee there and the man died. The policeman has been charged with murder as he should be but the other 3 that were standing there watching haven't been arrested yet. That gave the lunatics (paid riotors) a reason to start riots all over the country in the big cities where people had been peacefully protesting. And of course some of the people that were protesting decided to join in and started looting and setting the towns on fire. There have been several police shot, run over, knocked down and at least one killed. I'm glad I live in the country & not in the big city!
Oh my gosh, we've been watching the News on the TV about that white Policeman with a Black man on the ground, then the Policeman kept his Knee on the Black man's neck,he must have been in agony, not being able to breathe. How on Earth can anyone be so cruel as to do that ..
So he should be charged with murder. The other 3 Policemen should be arrested as well. They could have pulled that Cop off that poor Man on the ground.
They ought to be charged with Manslaughter. Horrible people.
Been watching the rioting. WOW.
It's frightening. Im glad that you live in the County and not in the Big City.
Trump is a bloody Idiot. He's been setting fuel to the Fire, then going in hiding. He said something about when the Looting starts, the Shooting starts.
Then standing in front of a Church
with a Prayer book in his hand,
holding it up for people to see.
The Prayer book looked brand new.
I bet that he's never even held a prayer book before.
Instead of calming the fire over there,he's just stoking it.
No Remorse at all for the poor man that died.
I wouldn't put him in charge of a Menagerie ,let alone a Country as big as America .OOOH im off on one.
Trump isn't the best president we've ever had but I think he was better than the alternative. Hilary had already started selling us out to China and she would have completed the task. You've see what China has done with this virus. They were working on taking over the whole country little by little. Then we made China do what other countries make them do with imports they started to retaliate. I hate to say it but the up and coming opponent isn't much better. He is being propped up by his party. I don't belong to eithe party because I believe it divides people too much. I think it should be the best person wins, not who has the most money or who will promise to give away the most to the people. I think I just want to crawl into a hole and let the world go by.....
I think it is a matter of common sense and using your own judgement. Just because a certain group of people do something, it doesn't mean you should, like following a crowd. For self preservation, you do something to protect your self from harm, and also you have a responsibility to be vigilant and have consideration for others.
