Chris and I tell stories on Skype to our five year old grandson and keep busy planning new stories and drawing pictures to go with them so we're developing new skills! He's very appreciative and his smiles help us to keep positive!

That's such a lovely idea StellaEast. It keeps you in touch in a very nice and engaged way! 😊

It sounds like you've already discovered some really good ways of interacting with your grandson. Theres' so much you can do and I suspect youll just keep on finding different and interesting ways of doing it. It will also keep you motivated and help to fill the void of not actually seeing him. Keep us posted.

😊😊😊

Skype is a brilliant invention Stella, I live in the Uk, my brother lives in Tasmania, we chat weekly even if the family news hasnt changed, we talk about the old days, I’m 76, he is 91!

Hi Stella, i too am isolating with him indoors. We are getting along better due to less distractions. He still manages 1:1 golf and i 1:1 dance lesson. Studying crystal healing and trying to use my brain positively. Glad that you are able to entertain your Grandson and get creative. Awesome.

I like gardening but not in freezing weather. Dog walking and walking with my friend 1:1. Trying not to get too lardy. No rain yet might get out today. Have a good one.
