Over the last few days I've been seeing various reports of bad behaviour all over the place as, I guess, people are becoming frustrated with the everyday restrictions on our lives.
Happily most of us are reasonable and polite people, and have shown extraordinary patience and feeling for others in some really trying circumstances, but alas, there are always a few who, through ego and anger, give in to a lack of self control:
So I definitely agree with the following:
"Never do something permanently foolish just because you are temporarily upset!"
- John Spence-
Take care everyone, and I hope your weekend is going well. π

I think that is a very good quote. We should all be thankful such words like sorry and forgiveness exist otherwise I think people would permanently be at loggerheads.πππ
A wise quote. thanks for sharing - some people are obeying the rules -even the amended ones but some are still flouting them putting everyone including themselves at risk
There was a comment that a lot of people replied to but then an admin put a notice about deleting it
Apologies I went & deleted the message so cant find it-I know you are unable to do anything about it because you are unable to see it -but just thouht Id make an observation thats all as you are an admin
Like most of us I am finding the lockdown very hard but am obeying the rules. I have been meeting family and a friend or 2 locally. However we are still social distancing so can't see the harm in this. Not big groups though only 1 or 2 at a time and always outside.
Now I am retired I am a 'lady who lunches' so can't wait for cafes and pubs to reopen. I am also missing my volunteer work in a charity shop. When (if?) all this is over I will be out and about everywhere.
Everyone stay safe and well.
