I'm returning to the topic of friendship today for my daily quotation.
I was reading some of the comments within our community made by people who have felt the warmth of friendship from our members when they were at a low ebb. It's a lovely feeling to know we've been of help on so many occasions.
"Friends are the sailors who guide your rickety boat safely across the dangerous waters of life." - Sare and Cate -
I think life was seldom more dangerous than in the past few months and I have nothing but praise for all the lovely souls who've offered so much support to others over time. Our boat has indeed been rickety, but between us all we have managed to keep it afloat!
Thanks to all, and I hope you have a pleasant Tuesday🙏

This is a lovely supportive group, as I have found other groups I belong to on Health Unlocked, with some fabulous people who I think of as friends. It's like a little protective bubble of support. Thank you.
Love that quote and have made a note of it to pass on to others. So so true - whilst I know I did value my friends as something precious, this has been reinforced to me so powerfully in recent months and I would have without doubt been lost without the care and kindness of my friends since I have had to shield - I am at lot more at home in normal life being the friend as that's my happier place to function at, so to be on the receiving end of numerous kindnesses and thoughtfulness has been a moving thing. As always thanks for quote and thoughts.
Isn't that so thoughtfully put. We all need a guide at some point in our lives I think. We are grateful when they appear and remember them for their guidance, when they sail off again.⛵
Thank you Hidden . The photo is very striking, I saw the mountains and thought of the Lake District, a place I love.
It's been so lovely on here to see the support.

The picture is stunning and friends are priceless. I totally agree Lynne, the compassion and care shown by many people of here is heart-warming.
I love the photo. Do you know where it is? I think that there is a lot of support and advice available on here for everyone who needs it, which is wonderful at a time when friends and family are perhaps needed but are not always available, and even then can not be seen in person.
I personally think we are not all in the same boat, but we are weathering the same storm. xx
Hi Patsy10. I don't know where the photo was taken as its a stock one from Unsplash. I use that quite a lot as there are no copyright issues. I agree it's lovely, but there aren't any clues to identify where it might be! Lovely though.
It actually seems to 'draw you in' but that could be because we are not going out at the moment. It has a very peaceful feeling about it, almost sucking up troubles & woes and just makes you feel good. I'm really taken with it as you can tell.
In the news, this morning that shielding expected to stop next month. Food and medical deliveries will stop but priority online will continue. All seems a bit abrupt .
