I had an appointment with the doctor today, I've had a cough on and off since around the beginning of Autumn last year, yes I know I should have seen the doctor earlier. All is looking good from her point of view but I'll need an X Ray to double check. My local surgery have really got it spot on. You wait at the door, the doctor gowns up and then they are you. I'm very pleased to say my sats were 98% and my pulse was 53, I was very pleased with that.
After seeing the doctor I rode to my local farm shop and managed to get some more spelt, I was very pleased as I'm doing really well getting it at present and am able to keep making the sourdough bread.
I carried on past the farm shop and ended up going on a nice long ride, just under 31 miles.
Wow, your pulse and oxygen level were brilliant. The pictures a very nice and you certainly clocked up some mileage today. Good to know your GP has it all under control. xx
So glad your Dr. and the tests found you well. And thank you so much for the photos of glorious England, I miss my home, I live in US. Stay well, keep fit, enjoy your life, please send more photos. Sending love and virtual hugs....Sprinkle 1....
Thank you, so was I. England is beautiful and I'm fortunate to live where I do, it takes something like this to make you realise.
Keep safe and well.
Alicia xx
Hi Alicia, well I'm so pleased to hear that you've managed to see your GP. That's a long time to have a cough and I'm sure you'll be glad to have the x-ray for some reassurance. But definitely your fitness level displayed itself during your appointment. Woo-hoo! You must have been so pleased. Glorious pictures today with those lovely blue skies, and so pleased you had a better day!

Thank you and yes it's a long time, I know I should have gone sooner, the surgery was very quiet.
Thank you and yes I'm very pleased, need to keep it up now when back to 'new normal'. Thank you and the countryside is amazing.ππ
Sounds like the pulse of a bike rider. Eddy Merckx, rider in the Tour de France years ago had a pulse of 50. One of my childhood heroes.
Pretty good to match his. Mine is pretty close also.
Nice photos.
Been raining here for a few days so I switched to running. We are due for what we call a Pineapple Express on Sunday. 2+ inches of rain. We have seen 17β in a day now and then so this is kind of light.
It really was which is very good, I was thrilled to get more spelt flour.
I'm so glad you got out on your bike, isn't it good. I cycled that was not only for the farm shop but for the scenery, makes me realise that I live in a beautiful part of England.ππ
Glad your appointment went well and your cycle ride hope you don't have to wait long for x-ray. We normally get a firm from Dr and go to local cottage hospital without appointment but don't think will be doing that now
Thank you and she said the waiting times were quite short so I should be seen quite quickly. She gave me a form with a number to ring to book an appointment.
Thank you and they were, I was very pleased. My GP practice is awesome and it's been like that for around 36 years now, I've no complaints whatsoever. Yes I was very pleased to get the flour.
Good morning/afternoon. I have a 70 year old friend who runs long distance, and rideslong distance bike races. His resting heart rate is 36. At 70 he want's to do an Iron man race, when this pandemic is over. I will not be joining him. Again you, and my healthy minded friends keep me motivated to have, an amazing health & wellness lifestyle. Kudo's to you.
Oh wow, that's amazing and he's to be admired. An Iron Man is no easy feat as I have a friend who took part in an 1/2 Iron Man and her hubby did the full one.
I would also like to take part in a challenge when this is over but it wouldn't be until Spring/Summer as I much prefer the longer days.
