Today’s the start of a brave new world for some people in England, as they are being encouraged to return to work. And the rest of us have the opportunity to spend more time outside in the open air. There are some strange anomalies arising from the new rules we’ve been given, and as well as our anxieties there’s beginning to be an overwhelming desire to be with the people we love the most. We want to touch and hug and kiss, but it’s really far too soon. As humans though, it is a basic need for us.
So while we continue to wait and to try to stay safe, here are a few words from Kahlil Gibran, the writer and painter on love and separation.
He said:
"Ever has it been that loves knows not its own depth, until the hour of separation".
I absolutely agree!
Have a good day and most especially, continue to stay safe.

Hi, it is so true, we must remember however big the temptation, we all must adhere to the rules. We all want to hug our loved ones but this would be a mistake. 😊😊
There are a lot of unclarities in the amended rules
Hi
We do live in strange times. I'm high risk and have still got to self isolate as has our son who has Crohn's disease, he lives with his girlfriend, can't wait to see him. Our other son still lives with us and cannot see his girlfriend as yet, we all miss her but obviously our son can't wait to see her but is willing to wait until he feels it is safe enough to go and see her. Take care and stay safe. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx 😘♥️
Hi Hidden , I totally agree with you, it's far too soon. We should still be in lockdown as today I've noticed that another beach near me had opened up again yesterday and today the car park was full.
My personal view is the public weren't abiding by the 2 metres distancing rule before the lockdown and that's why we ended on lockdown and now they've been given 'carte blanche' to do it all over again.
Please stay safe and well.
Alicia
