I took this photo last May at a 'Gardens Open' event. I loved going to those and really hope they will happen again in the future.
These tulips were so striking and really did remind me of strawberry mivvi lollies.

Yes, I can see the connection Billy. I enjoy visiting gardens too.
😁😀🌹🍀🌷🌻🌷
That's lovely, but you have made me want a lolly now! 😊🌸
Strawberry Mivvi...... there are some memories Billy...... having said that, in recent months I have become addicted to Clippo ice lollies after my evening dinner, they come in a cardboard cornet and are flavoured orange or lemon, so refreshing!
I eat the clippo, its not hard ice, pushing it up out of the cornet as I eat it, when I get to the last lump, I let it slip down into the cardboard cornet, crush it between my hands and drink it like a Slush Puppy..... all this from a 76 year old!
I can’t believe that we are both addicted to clippo lolly’s . That was my guilty secret ☺️
Dont feel guilty, just enjoy😀
Yes, it's lovely, I want a cake now!!! Take care and stay safe Lynne
Beautiful!
They are beautiful, I heard on TV that the Chelsea flower show was going to be online this year. That will be interesting 🌹
Gorgeous Billy
I used to love Strawberry Mivvi lollies that a real memory
I don't know where in the country you are but if you ever get chance to go to Warwick - when we are allowed - there is the most beautiful garden open to the public on the river in the shadows of the castle it's beautiful 🌷
I don't think I've ever seen a strawberry mivvi lolli but the flowers sure are beautiful. 🌷🌷
Oh my goodness, I remember those, they were so good but they don't make them any more do they? It also looks like the wonderful ice cream you could get on the harbour at Brixham, Raspberry Ripple which actually had raspberries in it (that was in the late 50s early 60s), my goodness that was so good too and was made by a family run company who I believe were local) They were so thick it would take a while to eat them (but then I was quite young). Yum!
Aha Billy61, it's a long time since I saw a Mivvi, but yes I agree the colours are very reminiscent. Very beautiful, and yes, those open garden events are really lovely and will be very much missed this year. You've captured those tulips beautifully! 😊
Oh what beautiful tulips they are, I so love this time of year when all you see is colour. It'll be so good to be able to go out again and visit places like these to enjoy nature at its best.
