I've chosen Bob Dylan as my inspiration for today and his song 'Forever Young'. It's always been one of my favourites, and I've always imagined his song was intended to be about remaining young in mind and heart and that's a wonderful goal for anyone.
"May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the light surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
And may you stay forever young
May you stay forever young"
Please all be young at heart today, and have a good one! Take care. ππ

Don't get me started with that days thing! I even labelled one of my quotations wrongly this week. So you are in quite a lot of good company I think! π€£
That's quite funny Jerry, as I've just been over to YouTube to singalongaBob! π€£
Good morning Callendersgal, what a wonderful song to brighten up my day . PS , I'm still 21 at heart β€οΈ
Great words, I once chatted with a lady in her nineties, she told me, even though the body grows old, the brain is far behind it and she felt and thought like she always had. She said she didn't feel the way people perceived her, she said, your as old as your feel and she was young at heart. ππ
Hi bobbybobb, I echo that. I haven't quite reached that grand old age, but you have only to hear of Captain (Colonel) Tom Moore, to know that if you are lucky enough for your brain to survive the ravages of old age, you don't actually think much differently to the way you thought or felt when younger. And like Captain Tom, you can push yourself physically to achieve feats that many younger people would baulk at. π
I really liked that one. Will keep it and reflect from time to time. Thanks.

I do love that one Hidden
My mum always used to say to me that I might be (whatever age she was at the time) but inside I still feel like a young girl. My mum was an absolute inspiration to me, she was kind, generous, strong and so charitable, an amazing person.
My day, he was the kindest, most loving father anyone could have wished for.
