Hi everyone,
I'm revisiting 'The Karma Bear' this morning for my quotation. (For newcomers to the forum, he comes from a little book of illustrated wisdom that's been in my possession for a long time. As the title suggests, Karma bear's advice is mostly based on Buddhist principles).
Today he says:
'Self-discipline is when your conscience tells you to do something, and you don't talk back'.
Fine advice for the times we are living through, I think. Whether it's deciding, as he is in the picture, to give up cake for something healthier, or whether we are deciding how well we are going to follow the current safety advice, we all know, without being told, when we are doing something wrong. We just need the self-discipline to get on and just do what's right!
Hope you all have a safe and pleasant Friday.
