Hey y’all. I am new to this group. My name is Aaron and I live in Fort Worth, Texas. I am ai clinical psychologist as as a criminal psychologist.

I wanted to say hello and let you know I am available if anyone wants to talk about anything. I know this tone is tough and all the crap all over the news is not good if you suffer from anxiety or depression or anything else. Me? I am just angry at the whole situation.

Please don’t hesitate to respond or send me a PM. I have a whole alphabet that follows my professional title. Lolol

Hi

Suffer with that to but I'm not worrying about the virus if I get I get it nothing I can do i read somewhere there's no point in worrying over something you can't control x

in reply toPink-princess12

Well yes you should not worry , as much as I do.but you have to do what they tell us to, to protect yourself, and others. I have a friend that died from it, plus his family had it too. His wife told me it was the most god awful thing she ever had, and seeing her family go though it too. Now she has no husband who was a wonderful person.

Yes for awhile, but I have PTSD, been though many therapies, nothing has worked, so I still have the nightmares , flashbacks , and triggers. But I take what I can get to feel better, like exercising, and my grandchildren, but I haven’t seen them in weeks because of the virus. I miss them so very much!❤️

Hi

Yes I bet you do, i have ptsd to, yes I miss not seeing my friends and not going on a walk and jog with them, tho the last two days I've seen two of them so we had a talk while social distancing, and another person I know, I saw her on the same day and she's in the vulnerable category, and she decided to go out walking while maintaining social distancing we had a talk, I miss everything that isn't not open and not being able to go on a day out to.

Hi there, welcome to this caring and supportive community. We are here to support one another. Watching news is no good if you suffer from anxiety so it is best not to watch it and switch channels. Lot's of people feel angry about the situated but anger needs to be channelled as it is such a negative feeling. Anger can be turned into something constrictive and worth while. I'm sure your area of expertise will be very helpful. Have a great day. 😊😊

Thank you for that and welcome.

What a fascinating job you have.

Don't tell me you are on lock down because there is no work atm for a criminal psychology expert. Lol

Can you please read my profile first , then I get back to you. Maybe you help me for what I’m going though with this virus going on! Thank you.

Hi Tex, thanks for your post. I am a social worker in NY. Lots of fear about catching it going on. How are you handling it? I’m taking deep breaths a lot.
