‘I’m alive’ was I believe said by the little robot in the film Short Circuit.
That’s just how I feel at present and I want to shout it.
I’M ALIVE
Thanks to all those nurses who saved it for me, to see the sun, the stars, the moon. Hear the birds sing. There is just one other thing I want to do and that’s hug and kiss my girlfriend, but because she and I, are still self isolating, it’s not to be.
It will have to wait, along with the many other things I can’t do at present.
I’M ALIVE
No greater gift those magnificent people in hospital could have given me. Thanks I’ll take care of it!

"I'm alive" is a wonderful mantra Hecarrysmenow! I think it's one we could all use when we are down in the dumps and fed up. "Stayin' Alive" as the BeeGees sang, is our collective goal at the moment, and it can feel ungrateful sometimes to be feeling low, when so many people have failed to make it through.
Stay safe and stay well now, so that you get the opportunity to carry out your dearest wish and hug and kiss your girlfriend again, sooner rather than later.
That is fantastic news, I can hear you shouting it. No greater gift than the care of others bringing you back to health and what a great job the NHS, are doing. You have a life of experiences in front of you now and you will appreciate them all the more for what you have been through. Continue with your recovery and enjoy the rest of your life. xx
