Remember when?

Remember when if you asked someone who was ready to retire what they were going to do , and they said travel and take ocean cruses and see the world ?

Remember when people wanted a giant boat full of tourists to stop at their island port ?

Remember when you actually wanted to stay home and do nothing and spend some time with your wife.

Remember when people bought those expensive , small condo apartments downtown because they were close to every thing because they would not be actually in them much, just a place to sleep and get clean, close to museums, bars , restaurants etc. ?

Remember when people in the city downtown bragged about not needing a car and did not need a drivers license because they used public transportation to go every where ? Do you remember the rush hour in the subways.

Remember when gasoline was over a dollar a liter ?

Remember when you heard the sound of a party in the next door back yard and you were pleased and thought about going over there ?

What else do you remember ?

Remember when people went to live baseball, football, and basketball games in huge arenas or stadiums and paid a lot of money because you could not get the game on television ?

Remember when you did not have to plan your meals 4 weeks ahead and you just went out to a restaurant because you really did not know how to cook any way and your kitchen sink was not where you washed dishes ?

Remember when people hugged , kissed and shook hands and wearing a mask in the bank was a big deal ? Remember when a mask was around your eyes, like Superman so you could not tell he was Clark Kent. ?

I am,, these things are forever changed . Its just the way it is, get used to it. make the best of it and be happy . Thinking everything is on temporary hold and that it will soon go back to the way it was is denial and unhelpful. There will be growing pains but it will change and be different ,some things worse and many things better. Wait for the baby boom all around the world in approx nine months, that will be happier times.

That's it things won't go back to how they were before things kicked off.

Life will be different!
