A big week!

I am on the treatment regimen of steroid injections as needed and this past week, I knew I'd need one soon. I have gotten stiffer and stiffer and had more pain. But, sometimes, life just interferes with plans. My daughter and grand-daughter are moving to the U.S. from Australia, so they arrived Thursday. It's been wonderful having them here; while they were living in Australia I only got down there every other year! Of course, there were several things we needed to do. Finally, I went to the doctor this morning for my injection. It had been 7 weeks. He was proud of me, but I think I may have waited just a bit long. It's also amazing how quickly I am getting relief! I've had a week's vacation; it'll be time to go back to work tomorrow.
