Hi everyone. I have had PMR 6 yrs. Thru the yrs, many flares. Slow Tapering record. I have been off of Pred for 3 months. Still on 20mg Methotrexate weekly. Since being off of Pred help re: pain, the pain I have been noticing is attributable to Arthritis that is now located throughout my spine, in elbows and knees and hips. The wizards tell me it's not a PMR flare. So far, 1 - 500mg Tylenol every 5 hrs receives most of the pain. I have an MRI on spine scheduled. Generally I feem OK. I am 82. I have loved the help on this site.

I did try Methotrexate for a short while but my hair started falling out so I stopped. I’m down to 8.5 pred & beginning to feel it so maybe just have to go on the Meth & go bakd!
