Good morning everyone, I thought I would be feeling fantastic in this warm and sunny climate, but the bed! Omg, the bloody bed .. it's like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Yesterday I requested a topper to make sleeping more bearable but this morning my shoulders and arms and hips feel like I have missed a week of prednisolone.its a really fancy hotel too! This dam disease, it really gets you sometimes🙄. Mind you I've eaten a mountain of food this week, probably put on a stone and I'm sure that's not helping. Home tomorrow and the diet starts. Has anyone noticed a significant change in pain having lost weight?

Hard luck on the bed - pun intended!!! That was the joy of a campervan - my bed so I knew what to expect and could choose!
Sure you didn't haul luggage around on the way? Or do something else to upset your shoulders and back?
Where are you - you didn't say ...
Hiya, I'm in Tenerife. It's been 23/24 degrees everyday. Apart from more intimacy with my partner 😅and a few more steps between pool and room nothing unusual. I have tried really hard to act like a sunbed sloth, doing not a lot. My Andy carries my bag, the luggage etc.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂!Intimacy..?WHATS THAT!
For what it's worth, I can't do sun loungers any more, ever since I suffered with PMR and since in remission. They're just too uncomfortable and oh the aches afterwards....just not worth it in my opinion....so as you mentioned being a 'sunbed sloth' maybe this has been the culprit?
You might be right, although we both said yesterday that we thought the loungers were more comfy than the bed!Travelling home later this afternoon and my son tells me it's warmed up a little - to at least 5 degrees - can't wait!
