Hi everyone just need to vent. You know I fell that took me a month before I could sleep.Just got COVID on Thurs and then hubby got it Sunday.Even being ill I took his oxygen levels and checked his fevers.Problem is he never told me he was dizzy. He did sleep a lot though.I woke up this morning to a thud and he passed out twice. So I called and ambulance and he was severely dehydrated.Hes now in hospital.I feel so bad cause I could have gone with him but my instincts said to wait at home cause Iam sick too.I know ppl have worse problems but it's been a struggle. Thanks for listening ❤️

Sorry to hear that - it all comes at once doesn't it. But do comfort yourself that if YOU have Covid you have no need to add your bugs to the hospital environment unless you absolutely have to - i.e. as a patient. There are vulnerable patients there and the staff would prefer not be exposed to it either.

That's why I chose to stay home and wait.

Life’s a right downer sometimes….and as PMRpro has said keep your Covid germs at home. Hope you soon feel better, and hubby too.

You did the right thing by trusting your instincts, Hunter. 💐

Sometimes when we're unwell ourselves, we have to make hard decisions. They may not be the ones we'd wish to make but are the right ones for the circumstances.

Try look after yourself while hubby is in hospital. He is being looked after. I hope you feel better soon.

ihad Covid while my husband was in hospital with pneumonia. Not only could I not visit him…but when he was sent home, he was very weak & needed TLC, but I tested positive for 15 days, & had to go & live in our motorhome on the driveway!! The week before, when I could visit him I caught C.Diff at the hospital, & was banned from visiting him by hospital staff. It was a dreadful time…but they pass! Hope your hubby is better soon!! If the hospital staff knew or saw you had Covid you would have been refused entry, I believe, just as I was, with C.Diff!! And then with Covid. Take care, S x

Sorry to hear you are going through a rough patch. You did what you could for your OH whilst being poorly yourself. Don’t beat yourself up! Hoping OH picks up soon and can soon be home with you🌸
