I have PMR, now after four years on 4mg prednisolone daily and have adrenal insufficiency. I have to have six sessions of brachytherapy, a form of radiotherapy, twice weekly over a period of three weeks. It is for two basal cell carcinomas, on either side of my eyes, near the hairline. Would anyone know whether I should adopt sick day rules? I’d be grateful for any advice.

I wouldn't have thought so but the oncologist or radiologist is the person to ask I think.
It is an extremely localised non-invasive treatment and the radiation barely penetrates the skin so systemic side effects are not seen. I suppose it is more whether you are experiencing a lot of stress over the treatment - on top of the stress of having a BCC anyway.
