Quick update on what is now Half a dozen legs ( cellulitis) ulcers

there is now six areas where and also has developed, may I add painfully developed, paracetamol or ibuprofen do not seem to touch it, went to the Doctor who prescribed amitriptyline and to be fair they don't seem to help either, couple that with reynards disease there ain't much sleep going on. Visit to the doctors for blood tests today, Wednesday back to the vascular team to get bandaged up, and then, on Thursday MRI scan on the back to find out if anything is untowards there.

apart from that we got a point against QPR which leaves us 2nd in the table and my toes are cold.

keep smiling people remember PMR is not just before Christmas.

happy Halloween

Surely Burnley will take you on with half a dozen legs???????

Now that all sounds like a bit of a pain.

Sorry to hear about your ulcers. Presently, I have it also on my lower left leg, it is sore if I press on it and there is a fair amount of leakage. I was put on an antibiotic on the 19th of this month for two weeks. Did they ever try that...? I'm in the States and was told it was either staph or strep infection. I had a worse case in '21 but ...you have me beat with all those legs. Do you have edema? It sounds like you are getting regular wound care. Is that right? My best to you....

Amitriptyline used as a painkiller can take a while to kick in, so bear with it (see link below):

"You may start to feel better after 1 or 2 weeks, but it can take 6 weeks for amitriptyline to work as a painkiller."

I presume you've been screened for diabetes, as well as Raynaud's? Both can cause problems with blood circulation in the lower legs and feet, leaving you open to infections.
