Inceasing prednisone by 5 mgs?

sorrIvebposted this earlier but have deleted sime responses in error, in particular response frim PMRpro, was asking if I kncrease my current 3 1/2 mg dosev( only been on now 5 consecutive days) to 8 1/2, how many days before I should notice my pain levels decrease?

Unfortunately there’s no simple answer to that.. it varies from person to person.

But would hope you should notice a significant different after a week if it’s no better after 2 weeks then it’s probably not down to the disease.
