I have had my 5th actemra weekly injection. I reduced my pred. from 15mg to 14&1/2 mg. I have been on the 14&1/2 for 5 days and I started getting hip stiffness and pain. I took the 1/2 mg and within hours the pain subsided.
I decided to take 9mg at 11 pm (my normal time) and around 2-3am I take another 5 mg and then I take 1/2 mg around 10am. Have been doing that for 2 days and it seems to be working.
Can anyone think of a reason why this would not be a good idea?
Thanks

Not really Linny, double check with your doctor. It is relatively early days for you. Symptoms are all we have to go on really. It sounds like you’ve worked out a good plan that suits you. Perhaps rest there for a bit.
Sorry this is not an an answer but I am on the same regimen as you are 4th Actemra and 15 mgs of Pred .. fizzy head light headed ... not fall over and can still drive by feels like cotton candy in my head. Any dude effects for you
My main side effect is a bad headache, usually the day after shot and lasts for a day or two.
My skin is getting worse, very thin and Petechiae . Have had a few dizzy spells and I sweat really bad, worse than the prednisone. I agree, I do not want to feel like this for a year.
I was hoping that I would be able to reduce pred. every two weeks. That isn't happening for me.
