Increase prednisone by 5 mgs

so if I ho up by 5 mgs, from 3 1/2 ( wich have only down to for 5 days) can I come back to 3 1/2 right away with no reperccussions or back to 4 mgs?

If you flared at 3.5 before then it would not be a good idea to go right back to that dose, but to settle a little higher, at a level where you are sure you didn't have even niggles. Also, although they say you can bounce right back down, in my personal experience I found it easier to take the descent in steps - steps you can take quite quickly, not a taper as such. But do listen to your body.

Remember the adages: "You need what you need." "It isn't slow if it works." "The lower the slower."

Best to go slow. You really don't want to end up in the yo-yo state! 🍀
