I take Accrete d3 which is a tablet that you just swallow with a drink

Thank you for this, Koalajane . Do you buy it or get it on prescription?

It is on prescription

I have Accrete as well. The only problem you might have is with swallowing the tablets, which are large ovoids.

I find they go down well as they are not chalky

Yes, so do I. I just remember that when they were prescribed, the surgery gave me a choice, because they said some people had difficulty swallowing Accrete

Accrete works fine for me. You can always ask your doctor and say you want a change.

Ask the pharmacy what can be prescribed.

I take d3 in olive oil. Comes in a little bottle and you take one or two drops a day. Each drop is 2,000 iu 🤗

I first started on Calcichew D3 and later on the surgery swapped it to Evacal. They’re both mild lemon flavour and you can suck or chew them. I get on ok with either.

I just bought some D3 & K2 tablets with 4000 iu of D3 and they are tiny. One little bottle has a years supply. I was recentky shown to be low on Vitam D in a blood test so am taking this as well as Adcal but I don't mind chewing it! From Amazon amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BP4CTHSM?...

I take Adcal D3 dissolvable too. Use the amount of water it says. My GP said it was “better” than the chewable but I’m unclear why.
