What blood tests taken? ... 7-10 days seems a long time to wait for results..

Yes , I thought so too. Afraid I don’t know. GP said that’s how long they take so just assumed that’s how long for inflammation tests

ESR and CRP can be done in hours! But if they have a single thing that takes longer, so does everything else. Vit D takes a week of so usually. But I have no doubt the GP practice accounts for at least half of that 7-10 days ...

Possibly they are busy at the lab. Also they seem to have different computer systems and the information is sent (or not) spasmodically.

I would query that with the practice. Mine usually come back the same day and that’s with lots tested for. It’s also put on the online system, Systmonline, so I don’t have to ring or go in! I just look for Anything that’s not within normal range and the CRP result. It maybe worth going into the practice and talking to them. I also emailed them through the e-consult system.

I normally get mine within 24 hours. Ger them online same time as docs do.

I’ve got a phone consult for Monday instead of face to face on Thursday. Best & earliest they could offer

Wouldn't do to need something urgently would it!!!

No I know! It’s frustrating being able to see the results but having to wait a week to discuss them
