Cortisol Levels Update

Morning all. A very wet and miserable morning here, nothing unusual about that I guess. Anyway, my latest blood tests came back and although my Cortisol level is still high it has at least dropped from from the 749 two weeks ago to 625 (normal range 145-619nmol/L). Not had a chance to chat to doctor yet to see whether we repeat the test again in a couple of weeks or investigate further. We originally did the test as we thought my levels would be low! It's a funny old life. Official moving date next Monday, so things may calm down a bit in a couple of weeks.

It is indeed strange!!! That is now down to normal range so I wonder what was going on last time?

After a couple of weeks of real spring here we are to have 2 days of winter - including snow down to the valley for a while! Then it appears to be April next week though more UK temps than our normal. The world has gone nuts ...

Update. Just heard from Docs, need to make an appointment to discuss results and a letter from the Endocrinology Dept (consultant).

How far are you moving? Can you stay with them?

Only a couple of miles up the road, so should be OK.

Well the excitement is over, doc rang early this morning. Everyone at surgery and Endocrinology Dept. is happy with the latest test result so no further action needed.
