Been taking Prednisolone for 18months or so and am currently working my way down from 3mg to 2mg . So far apart from a couple of mini flea . I am doing OK. Recently went to see my GP to arrange the usually CRP and EST blood tests and she thought I should do a morning Cortisol test. I was however puzzled - when I asked if I should wait till after the blood test to take my Prednisolone, she said not. That we might do that depending on results. Does this make any sense? I would have thought it will only mean anything if I haven’t taken the Tablets yet?

GP is wrong - Pred shouldn’t taken for 24 hours before cortisol test… so take yours afterwards…

You need to have not taken any pred in the 24 hours prior to blood being taken.
Why don't they READ the instructions for blood tests?
