Latest Thoughts on My High Cortisol Levels

Morning all, apologies for my patchy posting, what with planning and actually moving over the next few weeks, organising a music festival and coping with medical stuff, life is a bit hectic and "interesting " at the moment. Coping so far though. (I think!!!).Anyway, had a long chat with the doc yesterday, we are redoing the blood tests in a couple of weeks, interestingly, as I've been on a low dose of Pred for so long, he doesn't think the high Cortisol level is a Pred problem. We will discuss future steps after the blood test results come back. He is going to take my case to the senior team meeting on Monday morning to get general thoughts and ideas, if any, from them.

Even if not contributing too much I am trying to read the forum every day.

Take care one and all.

At least the photo is peaceful and serene even if you’re not…😊

Hope you can get cortisol levels sorted soon - can’t recall you mentioning, but have you or GP thought about a referral to endocrinologist?

I think we are going to see what the readings are after the next test, then it will definitely be one of the options. Picture is the Rochdale Canal on a beautiful sunny morning, I just loved the complete reflection of the bridge in the water.
