Not PMR

I have been told that I don't have PMR from my rheumatologist but rheumatoid arthritis so must I leave this invaluable site and find one more suitable for my ailment? If so I will be sorry to miss my family of helpers.

You are always welcome to join in, we won’t ban you from talking to us! In fact quite a few people are told it is not PMR, but rheumatoid arthritis, so you may be able to tell people how diagnosis can be wrong.

sorry to hear of your diagnosis of RA. A very good site is NRAS . It is specifically for RA and very good. It was begun about 15 to 20 years ago and has grown from strength to strength . Lots of advice and info . Good luck

You don't have to leave us... you can be a member of many forums...

We don't throw people of for having RA instead of PMR - and you can have both which some doctors don't think about. Many aspects of living with them are the same and the advice won't change. We're just not so au fait with the drugs!

I was told mid 23 that PMR had morphed into RA so I joined NRAS as well as this site.
