Magnesium

Hi.just a question.i was just wondering if I can take magnesium,while taking lefluomide.suppose to take 2 tablets a day.thanks.

As far as I can tell, it depends on what form of magnesium it is. You should NOT take magnesium salicylate together with leflunomide so do check that. Leflunomide does deplete body magnesium so you are right to want to take supplements.

The best person to ask is probably the pharmacist though sometimes they are too lazy to look it up! Which I find strange as my grandson is totally excited at the duties of a hospital pharmacist checking drug interactions on the wards!!!!
