RSV shot

hello, has anyone gotten the RSV shot having PMR and GCA? I am in between doctors so I thought I would ask here.

I also need my Covid booster. No problem in the past with that or the flu shot.

You may not get many answers from UK members, as it’s only recently been approved for adults over 75 years of age.

If you cannot contact a doctor for advice, then maybe look online -this for starters -

I have GCA and PMR and got my RSV vaccine about 2 weeks ago. I had no problem. I did have a problem on my 6 th COVID booster. For a week, I felt like a truck ran over me. We are fortunate to be able to get the RSV vaccine here in the US.

Yes, I'm in that boat! I had the RSV shot about 6 weeks ago with very little of interest to report. I just hope my immune system reacted more than the rest of me!

Hey I haven’t had the RSV shot but wish I had. Just recovered from RSV and it’s worse than COVID. It’s an absolute shocker.

Sorry you had a time of it. I decided to get it next week, wait two weeks and then get the Covid shot
