I have been on Pred for 8yrs now so am immunocompromised. Is it safe for me to have Flu and Covid booster at the same time as NHS want me to, or should I ask to have them at different times?

2 jabs together
This seems to be the way it happening this year - some are okay without, others not. The main issue is it’s a double whammy on the system, plus if you have both together and you have adverse side affects you cannot be sure which vaccine has caused them.

From a personal point of view, I am intending to get mine separately, with a couple of weeks between the two.

As Dorset lady says it affects people differently. I'm on prednisolone and methotrexate and have had the flu and COVID boosters together the last two years with no real adverse affects. This year my GPs are only currently offering the flu vaccination so will have them separately
I am having mine together for the first time this year.
This is mainly because we are flying to Australia in early October for 3 weeks and I would like to have them before we fly. I haven’t got enough time to have them separately now. I am having them 12 days before the flight and hopefully will be over them in a few days. I will take my paracetamol after and for a day!
After two shots at once threw my dog (I know but it can happen to humans too) into adrenal crisis and then Addison's diseas I will never have two or more shots at once. It is too much on my weakened system.
