I was diagnosed with PMR/GCA three and a half years ago and after a relapse I am now on 4mg.
Next week I will have an abdominal and urinary tract ultrasound at 11am. I was instructed not to eat or drink for 6 hours before and to drink one litre of water one hour before the test.
I usually have my Prednisolone between 7 and 9 am , with breakfast.
I don’t want to put the alarm at 5am to eat something before my tablets as I will get stressed and unable to go back to sleep. Should I take them with only water before my ultrasound or wait until after, with some food, which could be around 12 am?
Thank you for any helpful suggestion.
