This may not be the right forum to reach out to for my new issue, but hoping someone can tell me if there is a forum for this subect I had referral to pain clinic, to get some relief from spinal stenosis, buldging disk, degenerative, osteo etc in lower back that had gotten much worse over last few mos, My first treatment 2 weeks ago this past MOnday, was about 8 needles in lower back, one in each groin, of bupavacaine, first treatment seemed ok,, no issues, 2nd treatment, one injection in lower back, put me through the roof with pain, seemed needle went right directly into nerve. Next 2 days, didn,t seem bad, but the next day 3 days after treatment, on the thursday, started to get pain in lower right back area, then pain and tingling down front and side of thigh, had become very severe, and can hardly manage to stand or walk few steps, using walker , even in apt, subsides somewhat when sitting at times, or lying on opposite side , now scheduled for MRI, tomorrow, dr said pinched nerve, but this has lasted now over week, every day , chiropractor, and few Ive talked to feel it could have been needle hit nerve in error, very painful, have some painkillers, don,t do much for nerve pain, by any chance has anyone out there had a similar experience

I typed 'back pain' into looking for hubs - and came up with these options - maybe have a scroll through and see if any are appropriate for you -
I wonder if the Pain Concern forum may be helpful. I have spinal stenosis and often read the posts on there.
huh..I get epidural steroid injections into my lower back and cervical neck area..but it's just one at a time and the only time he hit a nerve on the lumbar region, I felt it right then going down the back of my leg and the pain only lasted a day. Wish I could help, but don't think my experience helps you..keep on the docs to get to the bottom of it, is my advice. Keep us updated if possible
You may have seen this already, but seems to describe what you're going through. Reassuring that injury is almost always temporary, but can take up to a few days to weeks to go away. I doubt this type of pain is in a chiropractor's purview, but what do I know?
