Sapphire Clinics medical cannabis

Has anyone looked into this at all? I mean specifically Sapphire Clinics for medical cannabis. Someone just suggested it to me to help with pain management. I have painful osteoarthritis in my back and hips now on top of the PMR. It looks as if these people will supply it to you now as a medication in the UK for pain control.

Thinks the thoughts are divided, there are a number of posts about it if you do a search. I think, but could be wrong, but think it didn't do much for PMR but not sure about OA. Certainly I've never used it.

Now you have posted the Related Posts have come up - at the side on a computer, at the bottom below the Next Posts on a phone with a selection of past posts on the topic.

I did search Sapphire but nothing came up. I have tried CBD oil but this looks to be much stronger stuff and they would provide it as a medication. Will go and switch my computer on - still can’t see them on my ‘phone - and have a look for related posts, thank you.

Sapphire as such doesn't spring to mind but the general consensus has been it doesn't help much with PMR as such although it may help with add-ons - remember US members of the forums often don't have the same problems accessing medicinal cannabis.

This is a general article about getting it in the UK

and this is anothe clinic selling it

There are pretty strict criteria for getting medicinal cannabis in the UK but it is used here in Italy (locally I believe the army grow it!) and I did ask the specialist at the pain clinic here. She said although she does get a lot of people asking, it doesn't achieve half as much as it claims. It isn;t the cheapest of pain solutions if you have to purchase it privately.

You might get more help if you post on one of the arthritis forums - and probably need to specify UK based -

Thank you. Having an MRI with contrast of my back this afternoon and also hoping to get another injection into my hip bone. 🤞

I'm not in UK but Canada. I've been on medical THC and CBD after year 1.5.

The THC has helped me sleep because I literally was getting none and the CBD really helped smoth out the effects the prednisone was having on my mood and brain fog.

My mother-in-law (93) uses a THC cream on her arthritic joints and swears by it. She is originally from England.

Hope this helps

Canuck here. Could you send me a message with the name of the cream your Mother-in-law uses? Thanks.

Hi Prospector 79I'm away in the Curacao right now but can you send me a message on the 28th to remind me when I'm home.

She has no internet now.

All the best

Hi Susy. I also have OA and PMR and I have found a tincture that I use at night. It definitely helps with sleep and no pain while I sleep. And approved by Rhuemy. It is a CBD/THC 18/1. I am in the US as mentioned we have a dispensary on every corner practically. Kind of like Starbucks.😂. It won’t hurt and it is natural so good luck. I hope it helps!

Good

Thank you. I am so happy for you that you have found something that helps. I don’t think we can get that one in the UK but I shall investigate. 🤓

At THC 1 it might, that is the top of the level allowed
