On UKTV, tonight, the news featured the topic of medicinal cannabis. Apparently, Parliament is passing a law, tomorrow. Many are going to be disappointed, as the short list for those who will be able to get a prescription, is just that, short, and limited.None of us lot. Somebody commented that the blackmarket will thrive. Hmmm.........

Cannabis.....
Hmmmm! Indeed!
Sky News had an article this morning - and had an interview with an RA patient who claimed she takes no painkillers and much lower doses of "chemotherapy" drugs, by which I assume she meant methotrexate.
I'm hoping they will be able to try it as a steroid sparer...
My rheumy has supported me through 18 months of taking cbd. I have managed to get down from 30mg to 10mg with no flares. Just starting a reduction to 9mg pred using dsns Dorset Lady's plan. Due to see rheumy in Dec so will be discussing whether he will be able to prescribe but I am not holding my breath!
hello S4andy, i am considering CBD, as i am now reducing from 8 to 7 mg pred, started at 40 oct 2016, long process, lots of stress, family illness etc, so far i am not having a lot of discomfort, or pain, little twinge here and there, probably arthritis, but my problem is not being able to get a good night,s sleep many times, my mind won,t stop, thinking about my families illnesses, living situations, just a whole lot of everthing, i was advised that 20mg cbd and 1 mg THC would help me with my anxiety, and sleep problems, many days i feel just totally worn out, just from mental stress i think, what are your thoughts on that please
If I was going to use CBD to help me sleep I would not use one with THC in. I would be more interested in the strain of plant used to make the cbd oil. The Indica plant strain is what is recommended for relaxing and sleeping. Hope it helps you.
I have heard that a very small quantity of thc makes the cbd more effective.
