NHS and Patient Access App

You may remember that I posted a few weeks/months ago about all my medical information disappearing from the above apps. I've done a bit of chasing and in spite of everything I have been told they suddenly re-appeared this morning ( suspect its been a surgery not an NHS problem, but may be mistaken). Also they seemed to have been edited.

Anyway on looking through them its quite interesting. in the Problems section

Current Problems - Degeneration of Lumbar intervertebral disc etc Jan 2023 (my MRI scan)

Nov 2022 - pain in lower limb, April 2022 OAQ in knee. No mention of PMR

Past significant - absolutely nothing, no mention of OA since the 1980's

Past minor - Jan 2023, Acute back pain with sciatica. ( again reason for MRI, which didn't read well)

And that's it for problems. Nothing about anything else that has happened over the years.

Medication - I have no Acute medication and a list of everything I take on repeat.

Most peculiar.

My OH has Fibromyalgia and when she asked, a couple of weeks ago, for a list of her illnesses for a form she had to fill in Fibro wasn't there. On ringing the docs they said, no we didn't put it on as you manage it so well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sometimes wonder.

Just looked through everything, there is nothing there before 2022. I'll give them a ring this afternoon, perhaps that is the new norm/policy

You’re very kind Bcol 😊 I don’t think I’d be feeling that forgiving 🤷‍♀️

That may be so, but you still lived before then - and may have had problems/procedures which are directly relevant to the status of your current health.

Nah, come on, what on earth would be relevant! Covid, my replacement knee, fused bones and screws in my foot, I guess I could go on!!!!!!!!

Couldn't we all - absolutely bonkers, and no use to man nor beast!

I'll see what I get fobbed off with this afternoon. OH had to have a telephone appt with a doc to get her Fibro reinstated. It's an absolute joke.

I don't have a past medical history - lived in Germany for 10 years and been here for well over 10 years and nothing joins up!

Guess I'm joining the "no history" club.

Fobbed off with its an NHS Digital problem with an upgrade due in May. In my humble opinion that is a load of old piffle.

Piffle at its best ! But then they seem to have plenty of practice…..

Well I suppose its good news really, I now know there was nothing the matter with me before Jan 2022. Anything I thought I had was obviously an over active imagination!!!!!

That’s one way of looking at it - or perhaps its all part of a cunning plan Baldrick!

Indeed. The big question of course is who's cunning plan? If I remember rightly one of them (Blackadders) was an MP so I can happily blame that one!!!
