Well I like that! That has cheered me up! I have been convinced that I take poison every morning! I am very aware of how I have weakened during the last 4years and have often wondered what I would have been like without the steroids and PMR. I know that having PMRGCA has made a difference but it is comforting to hear that steroids play an insignificant role in hastening old age! Perhaps steroids make us better - super human?!!

I have toyed with the idea of writing a children’s book about ‘Steroid Granny’. It would be fun if some street muggers tried it on ‘steroid granny’!! I know of course it wouldn’t be suitable as having taught Dyslexic children or any children it is best to stay off glamourising drugs!!!

Especially when even healthcare professionals don't always know the difference between corticosteroids (essential for life) and anabolic steroids (pose a risk to life)
